Home Rehabilitation

Home Rehabilitation Services are not offered at this time.

Home Rehabilitation is one of many programs offered at PCCEO. This program assists in bringing your house up to Peoria County code by contracting repairs such as roofing, siding, electrical, plumbing, and repairs to walls and porches, and lead paint mitigation. In addition to Home Rehabilitation, houses may also be eligible for Home Weatherization.

Home rehabilitation can include installation of windows, roof repair, interior rehabilitation and repairs, and lead paint mitigation.

The Home Rehabilitation program is funded by the Illinois Housing Development Authority. Currently, the Single Family Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program, is available for homeowners residing outside of the City limits in Limestone and Richwoods Townships.

Application requirements for this program include documentation of yearly income (applicant must meet income guidelines), copy of property deed, proof of paid property taxes, and proof of current household insurance.
